Zoe Saldana is the child of Asalia Saldana and Aridio Nazario. Her birthplace was in Passaic (New Jersey) on June 19th, 1978. Both her parents are both Puerto Ricans. She was raised in Queens, New York. Her family moved to Dominican Republic at the age of 10 where they would spend the next seven year. Zoe developed a passion to dance while in Dominican Republic.
